Home sales data from November is in! The new median sales prices for single family homes across our 5 local counties were:
⬇️Santa Clara County - $1.58M ($1.59M in October)
⬇️San Mateo County - $1.71M ($1.81M in October)
⬇️Alameda County - $1.16M ($1.21M in October)
⬇️Santa Cruz County - $1.24M ($1.35M in October)
⬆️Contra Costa County - $860K ($843K in October)
With the exception of Contra Costa county, all counties showed a decline between October and November sales. Relative to year over year changes, all showed either flat or slightly lower median prices in November 2022 compared to November 2021. Contra Costa continues to offer strong value to home buyers, where their money can stretch farther to own a single family home or just a larger home for the same price they’d pay in Silicon Valley areas.
