Each one has its own unique charm — whether it’s Half Moon Bay’s festive family fun, a classic farm experience in the South Bay, or the scenic beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Here’s your guide to the can’t-miss patches to check out before the season ends. 🎃

 

Lemos Farm – Half Moon Bay

  • Dates: October through November 16, 2025

  • Hours: Daily, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Location: 12320 San Mateo Road, Half Moon Bay, CA

  • Details: Famous for its festive fall atmosphere, Lemos Farm offers pony rides, train rides, hay rides, a petting zoo, haunted house, and more. Tickets include parking and are available in different “passes.”

 

Spina Farms – Morgan Hill (South Bay)

  • Dates: October through November 2, 2025

  • Hours: Daily, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (weather permitting) — check their calendar for any updates. Ticket sales end 45 minutes before closing.

  • Location: Corner of Laguna Ave & Santa Teresa Blvd, Morgan Hill, CA

  • Details: Free admission with pay-as-you-go rides and attractions like pumpkin blasters, hayrides, a corn maze, train rides, cow train, and Dino rides. “Park Pass” options available.

 

Queens Pumpkin Patch – Saratoga

  • Dates: October through October 31, 2025

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • Location: 12985 Saratoga Avenue, Saratoga, CA 95070

  • Details: A Cuny Farms location that brings a farm-friendly vibe to the South Bay. With plenty of pumpkins and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great stop for families looking to celebrate fall close to home.

 

The Great Pumpkin Patch – Santa Cruz

  • Dates: October through October 31, 2025

  • Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Location: 2124 Soquel Dr., Santa Cruz, CA 95065

  • Details: Also part of the Cuny Farms family, this coastal location is ideal for a day trip. With a wide selection of pumpkins and a fun, welcoming environment, it’s a favorite for both locals and visitors.

 

Patchen Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch – Santa Cruz Mountains

  • Dates: October weekends through October 26, 2025

  • Hours:
    • Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Gate closes 15 minutes before official closing

  • Location: Old Town Patch – 22217 Old Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos, CA

  • Details: Picturesque farm with pumpkins and gourds of all sizes, scenic meadows, wagons for kids, and classic treats like popcorn and lemonade. $20 per car Pumpkin Pass (applied toward purchase).

Harvest Nights at Patchen: On Saturday evenings, stay until 6:00 PM for live music from JuneBug, delicious bites from a taco truck, and award-winning wines from Burrell School Vineyards... all set against the glow of pumpkins and the beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
